Description


The Inca Jungle trail tour is a tour that combines adventure sports such as: downhill mountain biking, canoeing, ziplining and hiking before reaching Machupicchu. The Inca Jungle is the preferred tour for young people from all over the world who come to Cusco in search of adventure and extreme sports. By doing this excursion, apart from having an unforgettable experience, you will be supporting the economy of the inhabitants of the different areas where we will visit.

Itinerary

Day 1: CUSCO – SANTA MARIA – BICICLETA
Pick up from the hotel at 7:30 a.m. 8:00 a.m. and departure towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can appreciate beautiful and picturesque natural attractions. We will make a stop after an hour and a half approx. in the town of Ollantaytambo where you can have your breakfast then we will continue by car for approximately one more hour until we reach the Málaga pass (4316 m.a.s.l.) where we will begin the descent by bicycle after an hour and a half approx. We will make a stop at HUAMANMARKA archaeological center where the guide will explain details about that place, then we will continue passing through fruit fields and rivers.

Arrival to Santa Maria at 4: p.m. and during the descent through the valley we will have the support of our guide, and emergency transport which will only accompany us to Santa María, where we will sleep. (optional Rafting). (Lunch, dinner and overnight).

Day 2: SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA – CAMINATA
We got up around 7:00 am. and after breakfast we started walking along the river bank. Along the way, we will be able to witness animals of the region such as birds (parrots, hummingbirds, eagles), wild cats, centipedes, lizards, medicinal and fruit plants such as (banana, mango, orange, tangerines, cocoa, pacay and coca shadows, coffee , etc) then we will arrive at the small town Quellomayo, rest and lunch. Then we will walk approx. 1 hour and from there we will take a transport to Santa Teresa, arriving at approximately 4:00 pm approx. (breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight).

Day 03: SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES
Breakfast will be approx. At 8:00 am and then enjoy the lodge for a couple of hours and do tarzan or canopy activities (not included) and then approx. At 10:00 a.m. continue by car to Hydroelectric where we will walk and have lunch along the route and after approximately (5 hours), we will be in Aguas Calientes.

At night you can take a walk around the city and visit the thermal baths of this place (dinner and lodging included).

Day 4: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
In the morning at 4:30 a.m. we will wake up and at 5:00 a.m. we go to the most important archaeological center Machupicchu, we will take the first bus and after approx. 25 minutes we will arrive at the control point and entrance to Machupicchu once inside we will go to the upper part of Machupicchu to start the guide of approx. 2 hours, then you will have free time to enjoy Machu Picchu on your own, after that, depending on the time of your return ticket, you must go down to Aguas Calientes and the guide will help you in giving you the instructions so that you do not have problems when returning to Ollantaytambo and At the Ollantaytambo station, the transfer will be waiting for you to take you to the city of Cusco, arriving approx. 10:30 pm.

Recommendations
Original passport.
Waterproof trekking shoes, the use of waterproof clothing is recommended.
Trekking sticks: can be rented.
A backpack (from 30 to 40) with a change of clothes for the entire period of the trek.
Water bottle - minimum 2 liters or aluminum bottle.
Rain gear - jacket + pants or rain poncho (plastic ponchos can be bought in Cusco).
Warm clothing, including a fleece jacket, for the first part of the tour.
