Itinerary

DAY 02: UPIS – ARAPA PASS 4850 msn - PUCA CCOCHA CAMPING After breakfast 6:30 am. (Approximately) we will start the walk of an hour and a half to the Arapa Pass (4,850m) from here we will begin to descend for three hours passing through the Yanacocha and Pumacocha lagoons, where we will have lunch and rest and then continue towards the Abra de Ausangate (4,900m.) DAY 03: PUCA CCOCHA - AUSANGATE CCOCHA – CAMPING (YAWAR COCCHA) After breakfast 6:30 am. (Approximately) we will begin the ascent of two and a half hours to the Palomani pass (5,121m.), the highest and most difficult of the entire trip. DAY 4: AUSANGATE COCHA - PALOMANI PASS 5200 mns – HUCHUI PHYNAYA CAMPING After breakfast 6:30 am. (Approximately) this day the walk will be five to three hours along the way, with a bit of luck seeing wild animals such as: vicuñas, vizcachas and different birds of the Andes, lagoons of different colors and the mountains of Tres Picos and Punta Puca. DAY 5: HUCHUI PYNAYA - JAMPA - PACCHANTA - TINKI - CUSCO After breakfast 6:30 am. (Approximately) we will start the four-hour walk to the town of Tinki. This will be an easy, beautiful and interesting day because we will see in the tour more presence of people and small towns with their local costumes, customs so we can learn more about the culture of this wonderful region to finally reach the town of Tinki where after having lunch we will return to the city of CUSCO.
